Ghanaian Journalist Goes Nearly Naked to Embrace LGBTQ+ Love

Ghanaian journalist Ignatius Annor has openly expressed his admiration for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) community through a recent social media post.

Annor, a former Metro TV staff member, gained widespread attention on January 29, 2025, after sharing an almost naked photo that quickly went viral.

Currently working with Voice of America (VOA), Annor reaffirmed his unwavering support for LGBTQ+ rights in his latest post. He shared nearly nude pictures with a caption that read, “From the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, I adore…”

He ended the caption with a heart emoji and the LGBTQ+ symbol, further emphasizing his commitment to the cause.

Meanwhile, President John Mahama has declared that the Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill, commonly known as the Anti-LGBTQ Bill, is effectively dead. The bill, which sought to criminalize LGBTQ+ activities, failed to receive presidential assent before the previous Parliament dissolved.

During a meeting with the Catholic Bishops, President Mahama explained that the bill’s failure offers an opportunity for a broader and more inclusive national dialogue on LGBTQ+ rights. He emphasized the need for open discussions that consider diverse perspectives on the issue.
