Ghanaian Women Sleep with Men for Survival – Moesha
Ghanaian Socialite, Moesha Budonita Boduong is convinced that the only way for a woman to survive in Ghana is by sleeping with a well to do man.
In an interview scheduled for Saturday, Moesha told Cable News Network’s Christine Amanpour that Ghana’s economy is designed in a way that women don’t feel financially empowered.
Moesha believes that in, “Ghana, our economy is such that you just need someone to take care of you because you can’t make enough money as a woman here”.
She stated that, “when you want to get an apartment, in Ghana you pay two years in advance and I just started working, where will I get the money”.
When asked if the man she currently is dating has other mistresses, she answered in the affirmative.
Though Moesha shared her life experience, Ghanaians have criticized her for the comment she made.
One of such is radio broadcaster, Sammy Forson who spoke against the comments made by the socialite.
In a tweet he posted, he called on the likes of ‘hardworking Ghanaian women in high ranking’ such as Yvonne Nelson, Anita Erskine, Lydia Forson, Yvonne Okoro, Confidence Haugen, Naa Ashorkor. Deloris Frimpong-Manso to condemn ‘the shallow mindednesses embraced by Moesha.
He further tweeted, “the real boss ladies are too busy running business, acquiring new knowledge and grinding to be flexing on social media… Social media is delusional.”
Ace broadcaster Sammy Forson encouraged his followers to ‘ground their life in reality’ and be ambitious yet content by finding what their purpose was and stick to it.
The interview is set to be shown this week on CNN’s S£x & Love Around the World with topic “When being a mistress is a financial decision”.
Moesha has been in the media for posting sexually provocative pictures on social media.
