Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2018: Abena Reigns Supreme

It was a night of thunderous approval at the National Theatre when Abena from the Eastern Region of Ghana was declared winner of the 2018 Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB 2018) reality show on TV3.

Teary Abena couldn’t believe the reality when it don on her, even though she stepped into the GMB house praying for this very day. And it happened in style, perhaps, beyond the expectation of 19-year-old Abena.

It has been a tough experience in this 13-week journey for the beauty queens, but entertaining, educative performances interspersed with pure creativity for their audiences.

The expedition began with 10 elegant ladies from each of the ten regions of Ghana to redefine African beauty .

But in the end, it was the gorgeous Abena who went home with the bragging right, dragging along the enviable and coveted Crown in an Ssangyong Tivoli SUV vehicle sponsored by Silver Star Ghana Limited, and with a cash prize of GHȻ10,000 as well as enjoy an all-expense paid trip to Dubai, kind courtesy Camel Anntiseptic.

She narrowly beat competition from three other finalists – Ohema from the Brong Ahafo who landed with the 1st Runner Up position, Wekia from the Upper East also landed as the 2nd Runner up and Afrah from the Ashanti region landed as the 3rd Runner up – to wear the coveted crown and the hold the bragging rights for the next year.

Aside the earning the most votes from the public, she put in her all to ensure she secured an overwhelming victory her performances for the final night received praises from the judges and loud applause from the audience.
