Girl, 4, Dies Picking Her Biscuit

An attempt by a four-year-old girl to pick her piece of fallen biscuit from the ground has resulted in her death.

The deceased, Aisha Abdul-Aziz’ bent over to pick the biscuit but her head was trapped and crushed by a school bus, which was reversing, and killed her on the spot.

The sad incident happened at a location in Sawaba, in the Asokore Mampong Municipality, last week Wednesday March 11 around 4pm

The young girl was said to be standing behind the school bus when her biscuit fell on the ground.

Aisha had bent to pick the biscuit from the ground, accidentally the bus was on reverse gear and in motion at the same time.

The bus then trapped Aisha’s head and so the people at the scene began to shout to the driver to stop the vehicle.

Eventually, the driver stopped the bus but unfortunately Aisha’s head had been totally damaged by the car.

A distress call was then placed to the police, who rushed to the accident scene and picked the body for perseveration.

Aisha’s body was buried the same day (Wednesday) in accordance to Islamic traditions, the paper gathered.

The police detained the driver and the bus as investigations are underway. He is most likely to be sent t court on charges of man slaughter.
