GNAT’s Former General Secretary Passes On

Mr Thomas Ango Bediako, a former General Secretary of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has passed away.

The late Bediako’s family and GNAT announced the demise in a statement signed by Mr David Ofori Acheampong, the General Secretary of GNAT and copied to the Ghana News Agency.

The statement said the late Bediako’s death occurred on Saturday, March 24, this year at the University of Ghana Hospital, Legon.

The statement said the late Bediako was also the former Chairman of the Presidential Commission on Pensions.

The statement said the funeral arrangements would be announced later.
