Gov’t Full of Nana Addo’s Relatives – Amaliba
A Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) legal team, Abraham Amaliba, has accused President Nana Akufo-Addo of supervising the worst cases of nepotism ever witnessed in this country.
According to him, the country is being mismanaged because of over 45 close relatives of the president are serving in various positions in his government.
Mr. Amaliba described the current government as a “family that has come together to rule the country.”
“This country is being mismanaged, we need a quick fix. This is the most nepotistic government. We have counted about 45 of the president’s relations alone in government. The president’s daughter, the nephews, cousins it is now like an amalgamation of the family that has come together to rule this country,” he said.
Mr. Amaliba called on the President to give some of the money he earns to his daughter instead of giving her a position that requires payment from the State.
Mahama will end nepotism
Mr. Amaliba, however, welcomed President Mahama’s decision to contest for the Flagbearer position of the NDC adding that Mr. Mahama has unfinished business with the people of Ghana.
According to him, a second term Mahama Government will put a stop to the current nepotism in governance.
Mr. Amaliba explained that Mr. Mahama’s impressive track record as president would ensure his reelection.
According to Amaliba, the NDC’s campaign strategy for the 2020 elections would be to compare the four years of Mr. Mahama and President Akufo-Addo adding that the works of former President Mahama will speak for itself.
