Gov’t to upgrade Hohoe Municipal Hospital

The Hohoe Municipal Hospital will soon be upgraded to a Regional Hospital, Kweku Agyeman-Manu, the Health Minister has announced.

The Minister of Health, Kweku Agyeman-Manu made the announcement at the hospital during his tour of the facility last week.

This comes on the back of the former Regional Hospital in Ho being converted into a teaching hospital for the University of Health and Allied Sciences.

He emphasised that work is in progress for the full upgrade.

He stressed that government was committed to ensuring universal health coverage, hence the upgrade will attract more specialists and employ more health personnel to ensure quality services.
