The Deputy Sports Minister Perry Okudzeto revealed the information after the meeting between Government of Ghana and world football Association FIFA.
The Government of Ghana was keen to dissolve the GFA following the massive corruption scandal and other illegalities that have engulfed the association aftermath of the Investigative piece by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

“After our meeting with FIFA in Zurich last Thursday, the Ghanaian team arrived on Friday and steps have been taken to withdraw the case from court which in no time will come to light as well as the Normalization committee” – he said.
According to him, many Ghanaians saw the video piece of Anas Aremeyaw Anas which didn’t augur well for our football administration so pleads for support from all stakeholders to help government to restructure the game.
“The Government of Ghana is only concerned with bringing sanity to the game to restore back the confidence we had in our football. Am happy there’s a Kotoko vs Hearts match in honour of our former president John Agyekum Kuffour and I think it’s the best way to start the reforms in our game” – he added.
The new Deputy Sports Minister Perry Okudze replaced Pius Enam Hadzide, who is now the new Deputy Minister of Information.
