Transcripts from a United States court have raised the possibility of Hajia4Reall facing deportation after pleading guilty.
The court, located in New York State, highlighted that Hajia4Reall’s lack of US citizenship or a resident permit could lead to her removal from the country.
In a court agreement, Hajia4Reall acknowledged that her guilty plea and conviction could result in her deportation.
The agreement stated, “The defendant recognizes that if the defendant isn’t a citizen of the United States, the defendant’s guilty plea and conviction make it very likely for the defendant’s removal from the United States.
It is presumptively mandatory and that, at a minimum, the defendant is at the risk of being removed or suffering other adverse immigration consequences.”
Furthermore, even if Hajia4Reall is a citizen through naturalization, she is still susceptible to de-naturalization.
The agreement mentioned, “If the defendant is a neutralized citizen of the United States, the defendant recognizes that pleading guilty may have consequences with respect to the defendant’s immigration status.
Under federal law, a citizen is subject to de-neutralization and removal if the defendant’s neutralization was procured by concealment of a material fact or by willful misrepresentation or otherwise illegally procured.”
Regarding her sentencing process, Hajia4Reall is set to meet with a probation officer to present reasons for a potentially lenient sentence.
The formal sentencing proceedings are expected to span several months. According to earlier court documents, a control date has been set for May 31st, which is a crucial step in determining the timeline for her sentencing.
