Halifax Entertainment Part Ways with Nii Funny
Management of Halifax Entertainment has announced they are no longer managing, hiplife artiste, Nii Ardey, popularly known as Nii Funny.
The Entertainment Company and the ‘broken heart’ hit maker parted ways after 3years and 9 months of career building.
This was announced yesterday by the CEO, Halifax Ansah Addo, in a post on facebook.
He wrote “Got married in August…then our team held a great music concert in Bukom…then same August is my birth month, actually today…but I am somewhere in Victoria Island, Lagos. And oh yes, same August Halifax Entertainment part ways with Nii Ardey after 3 years and 9 months of career building and management. It is a great month.”
However, it’s unclear what might have caused both parties to part ways.
The news comes after the Gamashi Homowo bash which was held over the weekend at the Bukom park in Accra.
Halifax, days to the event gave a hint which clearly indicated he is unhappy with the artiste.
He wrote “Artiste Management in Ghana….one hell of BS!”, and later took off images of the artiste, who was supposed to be the front liner, from all posters in relation to the event.
Notwithstanding, Nii Funny was made to perform at the event.
The news comes as a blow to music lovers and fans of the artiste.
Nii Funny was discovered in 2014 by the Entertainment media where he released his first single ‘Broken heart’.
The move saw the artiste rise to fame and became one of the most talked about musicians.
The artiste has songs like ‘Loan Marriage’, ‘Vuvuzela’, ‘Gbogbo’, ‘Oyeedon’ and many others to his credit.
