As part of activities for the maiden edition of Miss Glamour Look International 2019, the Mayor of the city where it was held, Antonino Aurelio organized a Sportsmanship Challenge for all the contestants. This was competed by over 20 other queens from different countries including Cameroon, Nigeria, Senegal, Australia, Belgium, Poland among others.
However, at the end of the challenge, it was Ghana’s very own Harriet Lamptey carried the day as winner together with Miss Benelux, Romy and Miss Australia, Chantelle. This comes as a great achievement for the Ghanaian queen who participated in her first ever international beauty pageant.
I’m very grateful to God for this wonderful achievement and I’m very proud I’ve been able to lift the flag of Ghana this high. It had always been a dream for me to perform at such a level and being able to go beyond the borders of my country and continent to receive this honor is really wonderful – Harriet Lamptey told the press after touching down in Ghana.
