Ghana Women’s Premier League club, Hasaacas Ladies, have officially sealed a partnership agreement with Betika Ghana.
This partnership marks a significant development in the world of women’s football in Ghana.
Under this open partnership, Betika Ghana has committed to providing valuable support to Hasaacas Ladies.
This support will include essential items such as training kits and footballs, which are crucial for the team’s preparation and performance in the league.
Nana Benyin Eyison, the President of Hasaacas Ladies, expressed his appreciation for the support from Betika Ghana.
He said, “They [Betika] are even partnered with Kumasi Asante Kotoko. Talk about football in Ghana, it’s Kotoko or Hearts. If for the ladies’ side, Hasaacas Ladies is here to partner Betika, then probably it’s a marriage that has been ordained from above. There’s going to be great mileage.”
This partnership is expected to enhance the club’s capabilities and resources, ultimately benefiting the players and the entire organization.
John Kwaman, the Country Manager for Betika Ghana, also shared his enthusiasm for this collaboration.
His belief in the partnership suggests that both Hasaacas Ladies and Betika Ghana see this as a mutually beneficial arrangement that will contribute to the growth and success of women’s football in Ghana.
He stated, “We want to show everybody that definitely Hasaacas will reach again. That’s why Betika wants to be part of this journey. We try to see how we can assist their players in growing, nurturing, and seeing where they can reach. We believe that our partnership will last.”
As of the announcement, the Hasaacas Ladies’ team is actively participating in the preseason Women’s Premier Super Cup, which was taking place in Kyebi in the Eastern Region. In their first match of the tournament, they were set to compete against Dreamz Ladies.
