The Ministry of Health (MoH) has donated some items to the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) towards the celebration of this year’s World Tourism Day.
The items included tissue papers, sanitizers, nose masks, liquid soaps, and veronica buckets.
The items were donated to assist MOTAC to ensure the observation of the COVID-19 safety protocols at the event.
Similarly, the gesture was also intended to support the Ministry in the successful organization of the event.
The World Tourism Day instituted by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is celebrated on September 27 each year to promote responsible, sustainable and universally accessible tourism.
This year’s celebration is on the theme: “Tourism for Inclusive Growth” and is expected to happen in Hohoe in the Volta Region.
