Hearts Closes in On Kotoko Stopper
GLORIOUS ACCRA Hearts of Oak are close to signing on former Asante Kotoko stopper, Evans Kwao, to their fold.
The player, described by connoisseurs of the sport as very hard-working, has been flirting with the Accra-based club in recent times.
Grapevine reports indicate that Kwao is determined to wear the rainbow colours in the coming season.
The management of Hearts are also said to be enthused in getting Kwao to sign on the dotted lines and become their player.
Both Hearts and the representatives of Kwao, are said to have met several times in recent days, with the hope of reaching a deal.
Even though nothing had been concluded yet, deep-throat sources have hinted that Kwao would definitely sign for Hearts.
According to the sources, both parties are very close to landing on an amount so that Kwao can play for Hearts.
Ghana’s Premier Club has been hit by a league trophy drought for the past eight seasons, and badly need to reverse the trend this season.
