Hearts Still Sweat on Zumah

GLORIOUS ACCRA Hearts of Oak have still not been able to convince Richard Zumah to sign on the dotted lines to become their player.

The Accra-based club started their hot pursuit for young but intelligent Zumah some weeks ago, the paper is aware.

But after weeks of talks, Zumah’s employers seemed not enthused about the financial offer that Hearts has tabled, so far.

Zumah is currently tied to Emmanuel FC, a second division outfit, who want to make a lot of cash before they let their prized asset go.

Commenting on the issue, Kwame Opare Addo, Hearts of Oak’s Spokesperson, said Zumah’s chase is still not over.

Being frank with the media, he stated that “financial differences between Hearts and Emmanuel FC have prevented a deal from being reached so far”.

Opare Addo said Hearts and Emmanuel FC have taken entrenched positions, with regards to money to part ways, and that has delayed a possible deal.
