Hoteliers Go To School in Kumasi
REPRESENTATIVES OF hotels and restaurants in the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions have attended a service training workshop organized by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) at the Golden Tulip Kumasi City Hotel on Thursday.
The attendants of the educative programme, drawn from the hospitality industry in the two regions, included hotel staff, workers of food and beverages outlets and entertainment operators in the two regions.
Ekow Sampson, Ag Deputy Director of the GTA in charge of operations, said that the programme would bring a lot of benefits to the participants.
According to him, the event would help sharpen and improve the delivery of players in the hospitality industry in the two regions.
He disclosed that his outfit had received complaints of poor delivery from the industry lately, which was a source of worry to the GTA.
He was optimistic that the training programme would go a long way to help reduce the complaints and also improve service delivery.
