Former Ghana under 20 world cup winner Bright Addae has open up on his international career.
“I am ready to play for Ghana anytime they call me because I love playing for my country” – he said.
With Ghana Black Stars are yet to return to action after some time of instability in the FA but Bright Addae is confident of his international debut.
“There’s a lot of pride in wearing the National colours (Jersey) and that alone is enough motivation”
The Ascoli defensive midfielder has been in Ghana for the festive season and been training with his former team mates in the country.
“It feels good to be back home, I am very happy training with them again”
Bright Addae has been playing for Ascoli for the past five years but his improving form has earn him starting foot in the Italian Seria B side.
“I have been working hard since I arrived in Ascoli”
“The consistency in my training has put my name on the lips of the fans”
Aside being a professional footballer Addae has been helping the needy through his foundation.
“There are people who don’t have the means to survive(food) and that’s heart breaking but my foundation is seeking to stabilize these situations”
He further added that he also planning a massive health walk with walkers Club Ghana navigated by ace broadcaster Yaw Ampofo Ankrah.
He commended Yaw Ampofo Ankrah who doubles as founder of books and boots for his love for children and that he(Addae) would soon partner books and boots.
