Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has said his success in the music Industry cannot be emphasized on only beefing with colleague musicians.
He made this known in an interview on Anigye Mmre on Onua FM with Christian Agyei Frimpong. According to him, he made more money when he was not beefing any artiste.
“Why do people think that [if I don’t beef] I can’t make money,” he quizzed and added that, “people shouldn’t see me that if there is no beef,” he can’t survive.
The dancehall act noted that his beef with Samini, for example, “was one of the greatest beefs I have had in my life” but Samini did not see the business side of it.
