I chewed his penis to save my life …rape victim tells her story

A rape victim in the Ashanti Region who used her teeth to completely bite off the tip of her attacker’s penis until the penis tip separated from the shaft and fell on the floor has said she was scared that if she did not bite her attacker well enough to demobilize him, he could butcher her with the knife he was holding.

Interestingly, the suspected rapist, Emmanuel Ankron, told the Police in Obuasi that the lady was a commercial sex worker he had paid for the night and that the incident was neither rape nor robbery.

He is currently in police custody helping in investigations.

Victim Gives Blow By Blow Account

“I suddenly woke up between 2 to 3 AM and realized a man holding a knife was standing in my room. He has put my GH¢550 in his pocket. That money was given to me by my mother to be delivered to someone. I asked him what he wanted in my room and he said they were six persons on a robbery mission and that he was there to rob me.

“I realized my panties and my underwear were not on me anymore. I realized someone had had sex with me and the person had removed my panties. The man then asked me to open my mobile money account for him. I gave him the code and he realized the account was empty. Then he seized the phone. He then said he was taking away the television and the phone away. I did not resist. He then requested to have sex with me again. I said no but he pulled out the knife and threatened to butcher me if I do not agree. I then begged him to not harm me.

“The man then removed his penis and asked me to suck it so he can get an erection to have sex with me. When he put his penis in my mouth and I started to suck, I then bit his penis. I made up my mind that if I do not bite him well enough for the penis to fall off completely, he would butcher me with his knife. So when he started to beat me, I continued to bite his penis until it fell off then I escaped.

“I started to shout “thief ooo, thief ooo” but it was midnight and no one was coming out. I eventually got to the police station and was given a hospital to go for a medical checkup.  At the hospital, I was given first aid treatment and asked to wait for the doctor. In about 10 minutes, I saw the man who raped me also coming to the hospital.  He lied to the hospital staff that he had been attacked by robbers who wanted to steal his phone and that one of the robbers decided to bite his penis. We alerted the police and they came to arrest him at the hospital”, the rape victim narrated.

Police Confirm

DSP Martin Asante, the Obuasi Divisional Police Commander confirmed the incident and said the victim truly made such a report but after the suspect was arrested, he told the police that the lady is a sex worker he had paid to have fun with for the night and that it was during the intercourse that things went wrong.

“But this same suspect told the hospital he was attacked by robbers and one of them bit him in the penis. He has given two contradictory accounts so we are still investigating. We would be sending him to court and ask the court to let us keep him for a few more days while we continue investigations”, DSP Martin Asante said.

According to the Police, when the victim reported to the station, she had a huge mark in her back and that she said when she started to bite the suspect, he also started to bite her in the back.

He said the rape victim however continued to bite the man harder until the tip of the penis fell off into her mouth and she spat it on the floor.

 “We have charged Emmanuel Ankron for robbery and rape and we shall send him to court in the coming days as the law requires. But we need more time to investigate”, he added.

It is suspected that Emmanuel Ankron could have drugged his victim into a deep sleep before he started the act.
