I Cry When I Hear My Songs – Bak Tye

Ghanaian Hiplife artiste Bak Tye popularly known for hit songs like ‘Awoso Me’ with Mzbel has disclosed that, he gets mix feelings anytime he hears his songs on the airwaves.

Bak Tye began to take form in the hiplife scene in the early 2000s. The old hiplife artiste recounted the struggles he has been through IN and OUT the music Industry.

The 38 years old rapper during an interview on Starr drive with Giovani Caleb said, life has not been easy for him and he gets mixed feelings anytime he hears his songs on the radio.

“Sometimes when you become a star it gets into your head and if you don’t take care, they will come after you so you need to be careful. Because everyone is looking at you. And you need management and bad management too counts.  The industry is hard,” he said.

He further disclosed that, he feels bad anytime he sees people listening to his old songs adding that, the Industry has not been useful to him.

Bak Tye has several hit songs with hiplife artistes like Kwaw Kese, Pop Skinny, Kofi Nti, and Castro and Agingo on his ‘Yen Pie’ album in 2004, Jay Q and King Cyrus all helped out in making this album a successful one.

Bak Tye also stated clearly that the music industry is not helping.
