I deserve ‘Artiste Of The Year Award’ – Patapaa

Agona Swedru-based artiste Justice Amoah, popularly known as Patapaa has stated that no other artist deserves the ‘Artiste of the Year’ title than him.

Patapaa made this clear in an interview after his performance at the MTN Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols.

He made this comment in reaction to criticisms by entertainment pundits that he is not eligible for that prestigious title.

They said though he has not yet made a crossover to other countries with his music, therefore he is eligibility is questionable.

“Judging by the effort I’ve put across this year, I strongly believe no artiste in Ghana can match me and so I am confident of winning,” he said.

According to him, he is currently working on his debut album which will be released early next year.

The ‘One Corner’ hitmaker also recounted on some collaborations and performance he has done both in Ghana and international. He also said that organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards should consider the work he has putten up year under review to crown him the artiste of the year.
