I Have Not Failed Medicals- Winful Cobbina Yells

SKILLFUL PLAYER, Winful Cobbina, has rejected media reports that his ambition to play professional football in Europe has hit the rocks due to medicals failure.

According to him, there was no iota of truth in the rumours, and consequently urged his numerous fans to treat the news with the contempt it deserved.

The Hearts of Oak man admitted that he had encountered problems in his bid to sign for a Danish club but the problem had nothing to do with medicals.

Cobbina, who is noted for his sublime skills, revealed that the contract the club offered was not impressive so he and his managers rejected it.

“I have not failed any medicals with a club in Denmark as some media networks have published and broadcasted in Ghana in recent days.

“In actual fact, I did not travel to Denmark for medicals. I travelled to sign a contract but the travelling arrangement delayed a bit and it started the problem.

“Also, me and my managers realized that the offer that the club was proposing would not help me so we rejected it outright”, he explained.

Speaking on Nhyira FM, Cobbina said those spreading the false report that he had failed medicals in Denmark should revise their notes.
