I Twerk On Social Media For A Purpose – Akuapem Poloo

She is purposely known for half-naked pose on social media or videos but Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo tells The New Publisher, she does it for a reason. 

Days ago, she went virtually naked on the Internet and had many tongues wagging, but the Efiewura actress says she did it for the anxiety of getting a new car for herself.

”I always twerk for a reason, I recently did it because I got myself a new car. I worked for my car. No big man can claim he bought my car for me. I just don’t get up and twerk, it happens always with a good purpose, either God has blessed me with a new contract or new something. My greatest achievement so far has been getting a land for myself” she said.

According to her, contrary to perceptions about her, she does not engage in sex to make a living though surviving and taking care of her only child – as a single parent – is what motivates her to do what she does.

Akuapem Poloo added that, she is fired for the Ghana music industry following the release a video for her viral song ‘Sexy Poloo’.

The song was released last year under TNR Music, featured label boss, TiC and label mate, Tayst. It was produced by Samuel G, sums up to be Akuapem Poloo’s maiden music in her music career.

The video for the song was directed by Director Scanzer, and it is available on all digital stores.
