I was Treated Badly at Kotoko – Ahmed Toure

Asec Mimosa striker Ahmed Toure has lambasted his former club Kumasi Asante Kotoko over how he was treated during his days with the team.

The Burkinabe International expressed disappointment in the club, saying he was not paid at a point in time and regrets the manner in which he ended his relationship with the Porcupine Warriors.

Toure went on to play for several clubs including Bechem United before moving to Asec Mimosa in Ivory Coast.

“I was not paid but was playing for the club, they did not treat me with respect,” Toure told Asempa FM

“My contract was terminated and I was sacked from the club,” he added.

Ahmed Toure scored against Ghanaian Champions Aduana Stars over the weekend for his current club, in the CAF Confederations Cup group A game.

The former Bechem United striker has scored 18 goals in 14 matches for the Ivorians this season. He joined the club with another former Ghana Premier League player, Komlan Agbeniadan who played for WAFA.
