KOFI AKPALOO, the leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), has said should he win the December 7 Presidential polls, his administration will borrow more when he becomes President.
According to him, borrowing is very good, provided the President would use the borrowed money to invest in the citizenry to enable have better living conditions.
“I will borrow more as the President of Ghana”, Kofi Akpaloo, who is considered as an expert on matters about the economy and finance, declared on television.
According to him, every borrowed money by the state, would be invested in developmental and infrastructural projects to benefit the populace.
“I will not borrow and spend the money on my family and close associates at the detriment of the majority of Ghanaians”, the outspoken politician said.
In a chat with Kantanka TV, Kofi Akpaloo promised that his LPG led government would not give room for corruption to retard the growth of the country.
According to him, he has realized that corruption has continually been a stumbling block to the country’s developmental aspirations for many years.
Kofi Akpaloo said that corruption would therefore be relegated to the background when he is elected as Ghana’s next president this coming December 7.
The LPG leader stated emphatically that his political party genuinely has the interest and progress of the country at heart so the electorates should vote for them.
“Ghanaians will benefit from my presidency so I am appealing for your votes”, he said “you can also help my campaign with cars and other logistics”.
