I’m Not Dead – Joyce Dzidzor Debunks Rumor
Former HIV/AIDS ambassador, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has debunked reports that she’s committed suicide.
In a video circulating on social media sighted by The Publisher, the former ambassador was seen stabbed with a knife, laying in a pool of blood.
Debunking the news yesterday in a live video on facebook, Joyce said the video making rounds is a prank she shot in October during the Halloween season.
“About two months ago I saw a video on facebook about Halloween. I saw this guy who did the same thing and because I love arts I decided try it with my make-up artiste. But after we shot the video I decided not to post the video because I knew it was going to cause problem,” she said.
According to her, the video was posted by the said make-up artiste who also had the video in his possession.
Unhappy about the release of thevideo, Joyce however expressed shock at the love she received when the news of her alleged death broke out.
According to her, a number of her friends she had not heard from for years, contacted her to confirm the news.
“I started receiving messages and calls from people I didn’t even know existed. Family members I was begging to visit me, who never visited also called to check on me.
When you genuinely love someone we don’t show love when they are dead. We should show love when they are alive,”she advised.
