I’m Ready To Do Gospel – Stonebwoy
Renowned dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy has disclosed his intention to do gospel music.
In a phone interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, after his performance in Jamaica, he stated his readiness in doing all genres of music.
“I am ready to do music, be it gospel, hiplife, highlife or any other genre. Genre doesn’t matter when it comes to songs, I can fit into. Though I am a secular artiste I can still do gospel music.” He emphasized.
He made this revelation in response to Obaapa Christy’s statement on Hitz FM, when she disclosed her intention to collaborate with him.
The Gospel artiste is reported to have mentioned, she would love to collaborate with Sarkodie and Stonebwoy on her new album.
“I enjoy listening to them hence will be wonderful to do good music with them” she emphasized.
She stressed that she is versatile when it comes to kind of music she listens to and is not fixated only gospel music.
“I look at some of the stage performance from both gospel and secular musicians to improve upon my stage craft.” She said.
Stonebwoy in 2015, won the Best International Act: Africa at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards.
He is recognized as one of the leading Reggae and Dancehall artists in Ghana.
