“I’m returning to my maker” – Gospel Singer note pops up after death

There has been a note purported to be from Jacob Adjola, a beloved figure in the gospel music scene which got into the public domain after his sudden death which has left fans and Christians in shock as they come to terms with the loss of a talented individual known for his uplifting gospel music.

In the note, which surfaced after his untimely passing, Jacob expressed overwhelming feelings of failure and despair, revealing that he had been battling personal demons since 2022.

The note, filled with raw emotion, shed light on his internal turmoil, struggles with sickness, and the sense of unworthiness that had consumed him.

Jacob wrote: “Thank you for pushing to fend, but I chose to return to my maker as soon as possible. I HAD TO DO IT BECAUSE I DIDN’T DESERVE TO LIVE. I FAILED WOEFULLY AND NOTHING CAN SOLVE ANY OTHER MISTAKE. I’ve been a dead man since 2022, and I have struggled my way through… but as I gave my best worship in songs to the Lord, I knew it was time to EXIT.”

His final words to his church family, friends, and fellow musicians stated, “Thank you family, PLEASE FORGIVE ME! I FAILED! I have disappointed all of you and I can’t defend my acts but I accept responsibility”.

He continued, “I have had 3 surgeries in my testicles and hidden to everyone. Don’t cry for me but help my family because they will need me,”

However, the family in a statement has asked the public to be sensitive in sharing information and having discussion about the death.

“The Police is currently investigating the matter, both the alleged letter and the accident, and we plead with you all to allow the investigations to take it due course,” a portion of the statement reads.
