ING NANA Poku Agyeman, the Kumasi Metro Roads Director, has written his name in the history books as he is a proud recipient of the renowned Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
The highly revered award, which is also known as ‘The Head of State Award’, was presented to Ing Agyeman following his roles to develop the youth.
There was a standing ovation at the event venue when President Nana Akufo-Addo presented the top award to Ing Agyeman during a colourful ceremony.
Ing Agyeman, who is very popular in Kumasi and the entire country, is popularly known for his charity works and his passion to assist the youth to develop.
A citation that accompanied Ing Agyeman’s award mainly highlighted his significant roles to develop the youth in the country, who are the future leaders.
“For your contributions and support towards the growth and development of young people in Ghana through the Head of State Award Scheme.
“Given this day, December 9, 2021 by H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana and Chief Patron of the Award Scheme”.
Ing Agyeman, who was looking elated, said he was happy that his splendid works for the youth has been recognized, promising to sustain his good works.
