IS GOD A GHANAIAN ?

If God is Ghanaian
Our lives would have been like the streets
Full of ups and down, men will be pissed

If God is Ghanaian
Heaven Gates will have an offering bowl
Drop your cash and it goes through a gaping hole

If God is Ghanaian
Creation would have been delayed
And a sense of hopelessness will man pervade

If God is Ghanaian
Rich men would have longer life span
And poor men’s life short as a cake pan

If God is Ghanaian
He would have promised us the place above heaven
And we still will be in a fiery haven

If God is Ghanaian
Heaven would be filled gen sets and petrol
The sound of these will be musical rock and roll

If God is Ghanaian
Jesus would have been an outcast
And Mary will never forget her regrettable past

If God is Ghanaian
Hell would be filled with innocent people
Because they can’t get away from injustices ripples

If God is Ghanaian
Being a leader will be no gain
Cause of the insults and disdain

If God is Ghanaian
He will have a proverbial animal name to be called
A goat, a dog or fowl, we won’t bother at all

If God is Ghanaian
I believe Ghana will be great
And the people will be intricate
Intricate with a change agenda
To make Ghana better

In spite of all these
Ghana is an interesting place
And I am proud to be Ghanaian
