A STAFF of the Information Service Department (ISD) has been involved in a gory vehicular crash, whilst in the line of official duty to give public education and information on the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Seth Amponsah Hudson, the Bosome Freho District Information Officer, sustained severe body injuries about two weeks ago when his car crashed while on anti COVID-19 campaign to educate the public.
Seth Ampongsah Hudson, who suffered serious leg injuries, was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), in Kumasi.
Mr. Charles Wereko, the Acting Director of the ISD, made the disclosure during an interaction with Kumasi Mayor, Osei Assibey Antwi.
According to him, Seth Ampongsah’s vehicular crash, especially the level of his injuries, had come as great blow to the entire ISD staff.
“The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, is sad about the incident so he has sent us to Kumasi to visit our colleague”, he stated.
Charles Wereko said their timely visit to KATH is to prove to the injured ISD staff that the Minister and the entire ISD staff “are with him”.
