Amina Ibrahim, the second wife of late Ghanaian highlife musician, Daasebre Gyamenah has been ejected from her husband’s home barely two years after his death.
According to her, the elder brother of her late husband broke into their Kokomlemle home to throw her things out.
She told Sister Sandy on Adom TV that she now lives in New Town in Accra.
“I now stay with a friend at New Town in a single room. I used to live with Daasebre at Kokomlemle until his death but his big brother broke into the house and threw my things out,” she said.
She further stated that she has been going through hell to fend for herself and her nine-year old son.
Amina also disclosed there have been quarrels between Daasebre’s maternal and paternal families since he passed away.
Daasebre Gyamenah passed away on 29th July, 2016 while he was on admission at the 37 Military Hospital.
Gyamenah shot to fame in 1999 in the ‘Kokooko’ hit song collaboration with Hiplife rapper Lord Kenya and later earned the nickname ‘Ahoofe’ after he released the ‘Ahoofe’ song.
He released other hit songs like ‘Twaso,’ ‘It’s OK,’ ‘Still I Love You,’ ‘Yenfii Ta,’ among others.
