Organiser of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), Charter House, has presented the three ‘Lifetime Achievement’ honorees with their cheques.
The three, namely J.A. Adofo, Veteran gospel artiste, Dr. Mary Ghansah and Professor Kofi Abraham, each received a cheque of GH¢10,000 from Charterhouse Ghana as part of their package at a colourful ceremony in Accra on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019.
Speaking after the ceremony, radio presenter, Franky 5, who received cheque on behalf of Prof. Kofi Abraham, thanked the VGMA organisers for celebrating the legends.
“This money will help the musicians a lot, especially those who are not very active at the moment. They have paid their due to the music industry and it is in order that Charterhouse is giving them this token to show appreciation for their efforts,” he said.
