President Akufo-Addo has said the late statesman J.H Mensah pointed out the double track system over a decade ago as a way of making good use of the infrastructure in the country’s schools.
late former Senior Minister, J.H. Mensah had a profound attachment to democratic values, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has said.
“His role as a Senior Minister in the government of his brother-in-law, then president J.A Kufuor was invaluable. He was experienced, far-sighted, visionary and brought his great intellect to the consideration of the difficult matters that government had to address,” he said.
In attendance were former presidents J.A Kufuor, John Mahama, ministers of state, rank and file of the NPP, members of the diplomatic corps and member of the general public.
He added: “…J.H. Mensah was a good man.” Mr Mensah died in the early hours of Thursday, 12 July 2018.
He was a politician and an economist.
