Jiggy Waz Outdoors ‘Sexy Mama’ Music Video

Since age 10, when he started showing hints of his musical talents in the Greater Accra Region where he grew up, Rapper Jiggy Waz wanted to do big things.

So when he got signed to Tsk Records And Multimedia some years ago, he saw it as a good opening to achieve the dream of being an accomplished musician.

Although his songs like Faded and Sky Trip, which he released last year did not do too well, there is a strong indication that the young man’s dream may be coming true as his latest Single Sexy Mama is getting a lot of attention.

With guys like Medikal, Kwesi Arthur keeping the torch alive for Rap Music, it is little wonder that the genre has become so competitive and Jiggy Waz appreciates that.

He has however revealed before that he is not in competition with any Artist as he wants to contribute his quota to making Rap Music more attractive to the youth.

“It is not about who is better or best because we have our individual skills, strengths and together, we can make progress with Rap Music in our own” – he stated.

He has a good voice and brings to bear on the more than there minutes track. The ‘Sexy Mama’ Song released in January this year, Jiggy Waz launched the music video over the weekend.

The launch of the video of his single, ‘Sexy Mama’, took place last Sunday at The Woods inside Osu. The event attracted powerful personalities such as Media Practitioners, DJs, Musicians who performed on the night among others with Jiggy Waz crowning the occasion.

His Record Label, Tsk Records And Multimedia videos tend to play with the quality of contrast, daringly bringing to the fore, the harsh realities of life in Ghana. Not caught up in the need to showcase the untrue-to-life flashy lifestyles of celebrity culture, it is common to find the camera panning areas of neglect and harsh poverty, making social demands for change through the art of film and music.

The video for ‘Sexy Mama’ was shot on a bare stretch of land of his motherland at a popular venue in the Capital. Camera quality and direction was superb and Directed by Gordon Appiah.

Speaking at the launch, Jiggy Waz said Sexy Mama is a collection of love, inspiration and a bit of everything that makes life meaningful for Lovers.

“For instance, it teaches the value of courtesies and the need to appreciate the beautiful adventure called Love. If you love him or her, you go all out to win the heart” – he said.

He also revealed plans to tour Europe when things go as planned.

“It takes a lot of experience to become a better artiste and I know tours outside the country will give me more knowledge about the craft.

”So while the team is working to build a Solid brand here, the same team is also working to make a name on the international front”- he stated.

Record Label Boss, Tebi Stephen Kwadwo widely known as TSK on his side urged fans of Jiggy Waz and everyone at the venue to scream songs of the Artiste on various online stores.

According to him, through that would help create more avenue of better success in the music Industry for the Artiste to push to world stage platforms.

He also advised that the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) should team up with the appropriate partners in the future, to build a catalogue and eventually request to become an aggregator in Ghana.
