Joe Mettle sixth album ‘The Experience’ electrifying

Music patrons, most especially in the gospel fraternity have described award-winning gospel musician, Joe Mettle’s sixth studio album titled ‘The Experience’, as nothing short of perfection.

To them, the new album has come at a time to engineer the human souls which have been down due to the widespread of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has been of detriment to many across the world.

Speaking at the listening session held on Thursday, July 23, 2021, Joe Mettle real name Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle, the first gospel musician to win the VGMA Artist of the Year award in excitement said the 13 track masterpiece will be nothing but blessings to many.

To him, the songs on the album which were recorded live, promise to deliver a reflective, prophetic, and encouraging experience upon listening, all while placing the message of Christ directly inside the hearts and homes of any and every listener.

He added that his new direction in terms of music reach is to have more presence on the international music market.

“I think the whole pandemic was part of the reasons we had to wait that long to bring out an album but little did I know that during the pandemic God was preparing something inside of me. And based on that experience I had with Him is what I decided to share with the people of God today.” He added that a lot of hard work went into the making of the album and he prays it becomes a blessing to all” he said.

“The whole point is this; each song on the album has a whole different experience it brings you. Some bring you encouragement, some draw you into the Spirit, others draw you in the mood of rejoicing and celebration and so the experiences differ,” he added.

The 13-track body of work has songs composed in the English, Twi, and Ga dialects, and features melodic contributions from great artists across the globe and his Love Gift Band.

‘The Experience’ comes in time to commemorate ten years since Mettle’s first album was birthed, and does well to showcase the unique and skillful abilities of his committed backing vocalists, The Love Gift as well as celebrated Gospel artists from around the world.

The album includes popular tracks such as `Yesu Mo;’ recognised as the feature song showcased in Joe’s much-anticipated wedding video which dropped last year, as well as collaborations with newly awarded VGMA Male Vocalist of the Year, MOG Music (Track 9 – They that wait) and Glass Awards Founder and American Gospel Artist Michael Stuckey (Tracks 6 & 7 Peace).

It also has fellow Ghanaian and vocal powerhouse Isaiah Fosu-Kwakye Junior (Track 3 – Your Presence), from Nigeria, the eagle, worshipper and Revivalist Dunsin Oyekan was featured on (Track 10 -Halleluyah) Starr FM Radio Pastor and Worship Leader, Eric Jeshrun (Track 8 – How Excellent).

Joe Mettle’s fresh and season-specific sound is released with the accompaniment of a rich video series that reiterates the very power of worshipping God simplistically, from within your home.

Joe Mettle has over the years served fans and gospel lovers with great albums such as “Wind of Revival”, “God of Miracle”, “The Encounter”, “Sound of Praise” and “Gratitude”.
