Information reaching THE NEW PUBLISHER indicates that, a Broadcast Journalist in Kumasi, Kofi Adade, nicknamed ‘Al Jazeera’, is poised to win the Dadease Electoral Assembly seat.
The Oyerepa FM reporter, whose campaign motto is ‘Unity and Development’, has expressed optimism that he would easily win the upcoming polls in the area.
According to him, since education still remained the main challenge of the youth of Dadease, he would set up an education fund to assist anyone who desires to further his or her education.
“My education fund project is intended to provide the needed financial cushion to brilliant-but-needy-students in Dadease”, he said in a chat.
Speaking with THE NEW PUBLISHER, the broadcast journalist disclosed that he had over the last seven years operated an education fund for many people in the area.
“I have passion for education because I know it is the suitable tool to overcome poverty and hardship, and that is why I set up my own education fund.
“If I am elected as Dadease assemblyman, which I am hopeful will happen, I will expand the education fund to cover more students”.
