Juju In Music: Two Gospel Musicians In Hot ‘fight’

The new generation of Ghanaian gospel artists seems to be generating bad press in recent times; from bribery allegations to open castigation of each other and now, another revelation that would surely not do their brand any good.

Gospel Musician, Gify Osei has made some damning revelation, stating that, her fellow gospel musician, Cecilia Marfo once consulted and dealt in ‘juju’ (Black Magic) against her life and personality for total downfall.

According to the Aseda hitmaker, Cecilia Marfo tried ending her life over something she has been trying to find out till date.

She made this astounding disclosure when she hosted a show on Accra-based Happy FM discussing the “Dark Sides of GH. Music Series: The assertion that artists use black magic (juju) to either push up a career or bring down competition in many industries across the country.”

According to Gifty Osei, Cecilia Marfo who claims to be a prophetess wrote her name (Gifty Adorye) on a GHC 50 and buried it.

“A colleague gospel musician wrote my name on a GHS50 note and buried it. Do you know who that person is? is Cecilia Marfo.

“Cecilia was asked what her problems were during a church service and she mentioned me as her problem. I was shocked when her assistant Pastor made this statement in his audio,” she alleged.

The newly wedded wife of Hopeson Adorye further promised to face Cecilia Marfo with fire in the coming days. The Worship bulldozer Evangelist, Cecilia Marfo has recently faced several controversies for the bad reasons in the media fraternity.

Her Associate Pastor Reverend Gideon not long ago dropped a damaging tape of her, In the tap, a certain Mr Bright who is said to be a businessman stormed the ‘anointed’ woman of God’s church premises with police officers for allegedly duping him.

Pastor Gideon further disclosed that, the gospel singer and her husband have turned the house of God into a profit-making business which contradicts what the musician does in public.
