Juventus have jumped into the battle for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
The Poland international’s agent, Pini Zahavi, declared last week the striker wanted to leave Bayern as he felt ready for a “new challenge”.
Corriere dello Sport says Juve have made contact with Zahavi about a move to Italy for Lewandowski and are willing to make an offer to Bayern.
The Serie A champs are eager to propose a swap deal, which could see Gonzalo Higuain move to Bayern in exchange for Lewandowski.
Juve and Bayern enjoy a good relationship, with the likes of Arturo Vidal and Douglas Costa having exchanged clubs in recent seasons.
