K.K Fosu Urges Gov’t to Legalize Marijuana
Hiplife artiste, Kaakyire Kwame Fosu popularly known as K. K. Fosu, has urged government to legalize marijuana locally known as ‘wee’.
According to the ‘Sudw3’ hit maker, marijuana serves as medicinal purposes, hence the need for government to legalize it.
In an interview on Kasapa FM’s mid-morning show, hosted by Pomaa Kyekyeku, he disclosed that about 99% of artistes smoke marijuana but are still healthy as compared to people who take tramadol.
“Hard drugs include cocaine and stuff, which I will never tolerate, but wee is normal. Sometimes, wee is recommended to asthmatic patients to enhance their recovery. Many people take wee, we are just being hypocrites. I’m not saying we should legalize it in the sense that people will feel obliged to use it as and when they like, at least there should be a bit respect for people around them,” he said.
He admitted to smoking marijuana in the past and further stated that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it.
According to him, legalizing ‘wee’ will substitute the intake of tramadol.
K.K Fosu has songs like ‘Alomo’, ‘Sudw3’, ‘Adekye Nsruma’, amongst others to his credit.
He has released a new single ‘Who Say Man No Dey’ off his upcoming album ‘I’m back’ which is set to be released in August 2018.
