Rufftown signee, Wendy Shay has opened up on how her collaboration with Kelvynboy, who snubbed her sometime ago happened.
It would be recalled that in June 2019 at the Shatta-Stone peace press conference, Kelvynboy, in an attempt to familiarise himself with the gesture, walked up to the podium to exchange pleasantries with Shatta Wale, Bullet, and Stonebwoy.
What was noticed was that, after greeting Stonebwoy, Kelvynboy moved to Shatta Wale without facing Wendy Shay.
The issue created a lot of conversation on social media with people describing Kelvynboy as proud for snubbing Wendy Shay.
One year down the line, both acts jumped on a song together titled ‘Odo’.
Wendy Shay during an interview on Okay FM hosted by Halifax Ansah-Addo, however, revealed that the ‘Mea’ hitmaker apologized to her, showing remorse during a show in Italy later that year.
She detailed “we went for a show in Italy and it was in the news that Bullet wanted to beat him. He came to apologize because of the way things were going, people were saying he didn’t do well. And he said he didn’t do it intentionally, he didn’t see me because it was in the heat of the moment.”
“He thought it would be nice if he came to apologize. I saw in his face he was really sorry. And I said let’s just squash everything.”
