ALLISTER JOHN, a houseboy in Kumasi, who murdered her employee, Princess Afia Ahenkan, and stole her vehicle, will be hauled to court in Kumasi today (Monday).
His accomplice, one James Anokye, who was apprehended together with Allister John by the police in Accra, in connection when the case, will also go to the same court today.
Allister John, according to the police in Kumasi, stabbed Princess Ahenkan several times to kill her. He afterwards stole her Kia Sportage car to Accra and sold it to a car dealer.
Checks made by THE NEW PUBLISHER indicated that Allister John doesn’t know how to drive. He therefore invited James Anokye to drive the stolen car to Accra after killing Princess.
A top police officer, who demanded not to be identified by the paper, stated that Allister John was engaged as a houseboy by Princess Ahenkan, who resides at Sokoban Ampabame.
According to him, unknown to Princess Ahenkan, his newly hired houseboy is a known criminal, who had indulged in several criminal activities and he was even on the radar of the police.
The source said last Monday evening, Princess Ahenkan was talking to someone on phone at home when Allister John hit her head with a stick and stabbed her to end her life.
Allister John then dumped Princess Ahenkan’s body in a garage. He then invited James Anokye and they drove Princess’ stolen Kia Sportage vehicle to Accra to sell it to enrich themselves.
Police later on arrested the duo around the Peace fm area in Accra on Thursday and sent them to Kumasi to assist in investigations. The suspects would be taken court today, the source said.
