KOFI ADAMS BACKS MAHAMA

FORMER PRESIDENT John Dramani Mahama’s hankering of leading the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as flagbearer for the 2020 polls has received massive boost as the immediate past National Organizer of the party, Mr. Kofi Adams, has declared his unwavering support for him.

According to Adams, Mr. Mahama practically stands the best chance of leading the NDC to electoral victory in 2020.

He said the NDC is determined to return to political power in 2020 and honestly “It is Mr. Mahama, who has the expertise to unseat the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

“We want to return to political office in 2020 after losing the 2016 elections and so far Mr. Mahama stands tall among the about 13 prominent NDC members, who are vying for the position.

Kofi Adams, who was speaking on UTV, said Mahama is very popularly within and beyond the NDC; and would be easier to market to the electorates.

“I will therefore state again that Mr. Mahama should lead the NDC for the 2020 polls. The NDC delegates should not waste their votes by voting for the other contestants”.

About 13 top members of the largest opposition political party, including Alban Bagbin, the second deputy speaker of parliament, have declared their intentions to lead the NDC for the 2020 polls.
