Kojo Antwi’s Recording Studio Razed by Fire

A real estate property belonging to Kojo Antwi in Hong Kong, Kwashieman, Accra, was devastated by a fire incident between Sunday and Monday, March 3rd and 4th, 2024.

Blogger Nkonkonsa shared an Instagram video showing personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) battling the massive blaze with caution from their leader, urging them to proceed carefully, saying, “Let’s advance in bits, I need you boys alive.”

Although the cause of the fire remains unknown, various news reports indicate it likely began in a corridor near the kitchen. The property, primarily used as a music recording studio rather than a residence, was described by a shoemaker who spoke to ghanaweekend.com.

According to him, the firefighters reacted swiftly, combating the flames for over six hours until they finally managed to contain it. He mentioned, “The fire started around 5 PM Sunday till midnight Monday.”

An individual named One Day One Day, identified at the scene, mentioned that Kojo Antwi arrived after the fire had been extinguished.

The quick response of the firefighters and their tireless efforts were highlighted, with the individual emphasizing Kojo Antwi’s arrival post-fire containment.
