Kotoko, Aduana Fight Over Elvis Opoku
LEAGUE CHAMPIONS, Aduana Stars, will struggle to keep their prized-asset, Elvis Opoku, in the coming season.
FA Cup winners, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, have made their intentions clear to poach the intelligent player very soon.
Elvis Opoku’s current contract with the Dormaa-based club is said to have come to an end.
Reports reaching THE PUBLISHER SPORTS indicate that officials of Aduana Stars are currently in talks with the player for a new deal.
The 2017 Premier League champions are said to have tabled a mouthwatering deal for Opoku, who is yet to commit his future to the club.
The talks, however, looked very fruitful as football watchers believe Opoku might commit his future with Aduana Stars in the coming days.
This notwithstanding, other reports indicate that Kumasi Asante Kotoko is also holding behind-the-scene talks with the budding attacker.
Kotoko wants to make an impact in the Africa Confederation Cup Tournament next season and they see Opoku as a huge asset.
