Kotoko Coach Salute Fans …Over Aduana Victory
KUMASI ASANTE Kotoko Deputy Trainer, Akakpo Patron, has commended the teeming fans of the club for rallying behind the team.
He disclosed that Kotoko has encountered several challenges since the start of the ongoing Ghana Premier League, but despite the setbacks, the red army fans had remained very loyal to the Kumasi-based club.
Patron was particularly impressed with how the fans supported the club to beat in-form Aduana Stars 2-1 in Kumasi on Sunday.
He has therefore dedicated the sweet victory to the teeming red army fans of the ex-Africa champions.
“The Kotoko fans were like the number twelfth man as they supported us to beat Aduana Stars in Kumasi”, he told newsmen.
Meanwhile, Kotoko’s newly purchased defender; Emmanuel Agyeman Badu, has also described the victory over Aduana Stars as a morale booster.
According to him, Aduana is without doubt one of the best clubs in the country now and so “beating them means Kotoko have done extremely well”.
