Kotoko Hunts for Strikers
KUMASI ASANTE Kotoko have made known their intentions of poaching quality strikers to beef up their squad for the next playing season.
Disclosing the intentions, Team Manager, Godwin Ablordey, said Kotoko wants to sharpen its attacking department before the league starts.
Even though he did not name the strikers his team is eyeing, he hinted that decent attackers would certainly be poached.
Ablordey, a former Kotoko skipper, lamented that Kotoko’s weakness upfront in the last season made goal scoring very difficult for the club.
“Kotoko will certainly beef up the attacking department before the next football season starts.
“Kotoko suffered in the area of goal scoring and this contributed to our poor placing on the league table. We don’t want a repeat of what happened last season so we have decided to acquire new potent strikers for next season”, he noted.
