Kotoko Opens Talks with Out of Contract Players
KUMASI ASANTE Kotoko is currently talking to players, who are out of contracts with the Club for a possible renew.
According to the Club’s Lawyer, Yaw Boafo the talks look fruitful so far, and they believe they would reach a deal with the players soon.
He disclosed that a number of key players in Kotoko setup for last season are out of contract.
Even though he refused to mention the names of the affected players, he said Kotoko are putting plans in place to renew their contracts.
Lawyer Yaw Boafo said Kotoko wants to maintain a competent squad to make a strong impact in the league and Africa, next season.
“The contracts of some of our players have expired and Kotoko management has started talks with them to sign fresh contracts.
“So far, the talks look good and I hope very soon we shall complete their contracts for their prolong stay at Kotoko”, he disclosed.
Kotoko won the FA Cup Tournament last season therefore they would be representing the country in the Africa Confederation Cup Tournament.
