Kotoko Releases Abieku Anison
Kumasi Asante Kotoko seems to have parted ways, permanenetly, with defender Abieku Anison, the paper understands. Reporters emerging has it that the Porcupine Warriors have given the green light for the player to join any club of his choice.
Abieku Anison piled his trader with the Kumasi-based club for two-and-half seasons and he was at a point an integral member of the Kotoko set up. The defender, however, lost fabvour so Kotoko loaned him out to their regional rivals, Ashantigold FC at Obuasi last season.
Abieku Anison had a spectacular season with Ashantigold FC so sports analysts believed Kotoko would recall him after the season. But reports emerging are clearly the opposite as Kotoko is reported to have given the player the green light to join any club of his choice.
Abieku Anison is a household name in the Ghana league so definitely one of the top clubs would be pushing for his signature now that Kotoko had released him.
