Kotoko Team Betrayed Me – Paa Kwesi Fabin
Paa Kwesi Fabin has revealed the reason behind his resignation as the head coach of Asante Kotoko.
Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin resigned from his position as the head coach of Asante Kotoko on Thursday, 13, September 2018.
Fabin was seen in a leaked video negotiating with an unknown South African club ahead of a move.
And according to reports, the gaffer resigned to get the job which comes with a better offer than what the Kumasi-base club offer him.
“I resigned because Kotoko had planned to sack me by Monday (September 16, 2018) and I didn’t want a “sack” on my CV,” he told FOX FM.
However Communications Director of Asante Kotoko Lawyer Sarfo Duku has indicated that his outfit could not keep Paa Kwesi Fabin against his wish to depart the club.
It is unclear whether the former U-1According to the club’s spokesman, Paa Kwesi Fabin showed lack of commitment and therefore, management cannot keep him.
“Paa Kwesi Fabin showed lack of commitment, we can’t keep him against his will,” he told Westgold Radio. He now owes Asante Kotoko the remainder of his contract 5 months,” he said.
